FocusGarden is a focus timer that grows a virtual garden. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app, and it is “local-first” — your garden lives on your device unless you choose to sign in and sync.
What we store on your device
When you use FocusGarden without an account, everything — your garden, focus sessions, streaks, and settings — is stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB) and never leaves your device. We cannot see it.
Account data (only if you sign in)
If you create an account, we store your email address and an encrypted password via our authentication provider, plus the focus data you choose to sync (garden state and completed focus sessions). This lets your garden follow you across devices. Sign-in is optional.
Payments
If you subscribe to Pro, payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details — Stripe handles that. We store only your subscription status and Stripe identifiers needed to manage your plan.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of processors to run the app: Supabase (accounts and sync), Stripe (payments), and Cloudflare (hosting). They process data only to provide these services.
Your data & deletion
You can clear local data at any time from your browser. If you have an account and want it deleted along with your synced data, email us at support@focusgarden.app and we will remove it.
Children
FocusGarden is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
